The Long Island Nets Veteran of the Game Program is designed to honor returning armed forces veterans who have worked to protect our freedoms. As part of Bank of America's sponsorship of the Long Island Nets Veteran of the Game Program, the Nets will honor a veteran at each of the Nets 24 regular season home games.

Danny Quinn Monday, November 11, 2019 Danny served in the Army for 10 years. Within those 10 years, Danny served 4.5 years as an Infantry Officer and 5 years as a Special Forces Officer. Danny spent 3 years in Afghanistan and did 3 deployments. Michael Carpenter Tuesday, December 3, 2019 Representing the United States Army, Sergeant Michael Carpenter. From 2004 to 2005 Sergeant Carpenter was deployed in Iraq and appointed by the Commander for the 1st and 69th Infantry. Sergeant Carpenter was then deployed to Afghanistan in 2008 where he performed 11 Bravo as well as 11 Charles Duties.
