Yogi Ferrell Signs With Dallas Mavericks

BROOKLYN (Jan. 28, 2017) – Long Island Nets guard Yogi Ferrell has signed a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks. The GATORADE Call-Up is the second in Long Island Nets history and the second for Ferrell this season.

After originally joining Long Island as an affiliate player, Ferrell signed with the Brooklyn Nets on November 9. He appeared in 10 games with Brooklyn, posting averages of 5.4 points, 1.7 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game. Ferrell was waived by Brooklyn on December 8 and rejoined the Long Island Nets on December 10. In 18 games for Long Island this season, Ferrell has averaged 18.7 points, 5.8 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 35.7 minutes per contest.
