Yogi Ferrell Signs With Brooklyn Nets

BROOKLYN (Nov. 9, 2016) – Long Island Nets guard Yogi Ferrell has signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets, earning a GATORADE Call-Up. The GATORADE Call-Up is the first in Long Island Nets history and the second overall of the 2016-17 NBA season.

Ferrell (6’0”, 180) originally signed with the Brooklyn Nets on August 5 and appeared in three preseason games with Brooklyn, recording averages of 4.3 points and 1.7 assists in 9.6 minutes per game. The Indiana native was waived by the team on October 21 and joined the Long Island Nets as an affiliate player.
