YES NETWORK TO TELEVISE SIX LONG ISLAND NETS GAMES

October 12, 2018 – The YES Network, the exclusive local television home of the Brooklyn Nets, will televise six games featuring the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn’s NBA G League affiliate, this season. YES’ first Long Island Nets regular season telecast is Thursday, November 8, at 7 pm ET, when Long Island hosts the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards G League affiliate. This is the first season for the Go-Go.

The YES lineup includes an esteemed on-air team featuring a notable blend of experienced and new personalities, including Long Island Nets play-by-play announcer Kevin Dexter, Randy Foye and Tim Capstraw. Dexter enters his third season of G League basketball coverage and has been the play-by-play voice of the Long Island Nets since the team’s inaugural 2016-17 season. Foye, an 11-year NBA veteran who last played with the Brooklyn Nets during the 2016-17 season, will join Dexter as the team’s color analyst. Tim Capstraw, who begins his 17th season as the Brooklyn Nets' radio color analyst, will team with Dexter for the November 27 game when the Nets host the Greensboro Swarm.

ü Saturday, January 5 – 7 pm ET: Raptors 905 (Raptors affiliate)

ü Sunday, February 24 – 3 pm ET: Memphis (Grizzlies affiliate)

All games are home games, played at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Schedule is subject to change.

Brooklyn Nets on YES
In addition to its televising tonight’s preseason game against the Knicks (7:30 pm ET), YES will also televise all 82 of Brooklyn’s regular season games, starting with the season opener on October 17 at Detroit (7:00 pm ET).
