Mike Scott Assigned to Long Island Nets

BROOKLYN (Jan. 1, 2017) – Atlanta Hawks forward Mike Scott has been assigned to the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn’s NBA Development League affiliate, pursuant to the flexible assignment rule.

The assignment is Scott’s second with the LI Nets this season. He started two games for Long Island while on assignment from December 13 to December 17, averaging 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in 25.9 minutes per game.

Scott has appeared in seven games for the Hawks this season, recording averages of 3.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 11.8 minutes per contest. He has also played two games on assignment with the D-League’s Delaware 87ers.
