By Long Island Nets Staff /December 21, 2021

LONG ISLAND (Dec. 21, 2021) – The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have requested waivers on forward Zack Rollins.

Rollins was originally acquired by Long Island as a local tryout player prior to the 2021-22 season before being waived on Oct. 31. He rejoined the team on Dec. 15 after Long Island was granted an injury hardship exception by the NBA G League while Long Island forward Justin Jackson (right adductor strain) and guard Jordan Bowden (right thumb injury and right meniscus surgery) missed time due to injury.

In two appearances with the Nets, Rollins averaged 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 7.3 minutes per game.

Jackson will be available to play in Long Island’s second NBA G League Winter Showcase game against the Agua Caliente Clippers on Wed., Dec. 22.
