LONG ISLAND NETS WAIVE THREE PLAYERS

LONG ISLAND (Nov. 8, 2023) – The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have requested waivers on center Kavion Pippen and guards A.J. Reeves and Khalil Shabazz.

Reeves was originally acquired via trade from the Maine Celtics on Sept. 25, while Shabazz was acquired as a local tryout participant. Pippen was acquired from the available player pool on Oct. 25, 2022, and appeared in 23 regular season games (seven starts) with Long Island during the 2022-23 season, recording averages of 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15.7 minutes per game.

Long Island’s roster now stands at 12 players.
