Long Island Nets February Recap

Long Island started the month with a home victory over the Grand Rapids Gold on Feb. 2 for the team's New York Liberty affiliate night, with the Nets using a franchise-record 25-0 run to secure a 19-point comeback win.

Tyson Etienne continued to make history as he became the all-time leader in 3-pointers with his 228th triple for Long Island on Feb. 5. Malachi Smith also continued his standout regular season with a career-high 15 assists on Feb. 6 at Windy City.

Long Island completed the team's return to Montreal with a two-game set against the Noblesville Boom on Feb. 8 and Feb. 10 as the Nets welcomed nearly 23,000 fans over four sold-out games in Laval, including 6,720 fans on Feb. 8 for the fifth-highest single-game attendance in franchise history.

Two Nets earned NBA Call-Ups this month, as Nate Williams signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors and Grant Nelson earned a 10-day deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

After snapping Greensboro's eight-game win streak on March 4, Long Island enters the stretch run in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a 17-11 record, just three games behind the top-seeded Swarm.
