LONG ISLAND NETS ANNOUNCE TRAINING CAMP ROSTER

By Long Island Nets Staff /November 3, 2025

The Long Island Nets announced its training camp roster for the 2025-26 season, featuring familiar faces including Terry Roberts and Tre Scott.

Roberts will play in his third season on Long Island, making him the longest tenured Net on the roster, and last year recorded his first career triple double. Scott enters his second season with the team after being acquired from the Osceola Magic last season.

LuHi alum Tyson Etienne returns to Long Island following a career season in points, rebounds, and steals per game. He is joined by fellow two-way player E.J. Liddell.

David Muoka, who was a part of the Nets for the 2023-24 season, will return to Strong Island after spending last year with the Windy City Bulls, where he ranked eighth in the G League with 2.1 blocks per game.

Newcomer Yuri Collins, who paced the G League in assists last season for the Santa Cruz Warriors, will look to build upon his historic season after recording the fifth-highest assists average in NBA G League history.

Recently acquired Nate Williams brings NBA experience, playing in 47 games over three seasons split between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Houston Rockets. The University of Buffalo product became the first Bull since 1983 to appear in an NBA game.

Jay Scrubb, the 55th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, was named 2019-20 Junior College Player of the Year as a sophomore at John A. Logan College and became the first player drafted directly from junior college since 2004. Scrubb earned a call-up to the Orlando Magic in 2023 and has appeared in 24 career NBA games, including one as a starter.

Grant Nelson signed with the Nets after finishing his collegiate career with over 1,900 points and 1,000 rebounds, joining an elite group of players to post 1,000+ in both categories. Nelson dropped 24 points and 12 rebounds against North Carolina in the 2025 NCAA Tournament to send Alabama to the Elite Eight.

Dre Davis, a key contributor during Mississippi’s run to the Sweet 16, signed with the Nets in September after leading the Rebels in offensive rebounds and blocks last season.

Also joining the Long Island Nets training camp roster will be Malachi Smith, the 2022-23 West Coast Conference Sixth Man of the Year, and Hunter Cattoor, who was named MVP of the 2022 ACC Tournament with Virginia Tech.
