Long Island Nets Announce Home-and-Home Preseason Series with Westchester

BROOKLYN (October 21, 2016) – The Long Island Nets, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have announced a home-and-home preseason series with the Westchester Knicks, which will feature one game this season and one game next season.

The home-and-home series begins with the Nets tipping off their inaugural season with a preseason road game against the Westchester Knicks on Wednesday, November 9, at 7 p.m. at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, N.Y.  The matchup will be Long Island’s only preseason game this season.

Next season, the Long Island Nets will host a preseason game vs. Westchester at the new Coliseum, which will become Long Island’s permanent home starting with the 2017-18 season.

Long Island will begin its 2016-17 regular season schedule on the road against the Windy City Bulls on November 11, and will host the Canton Charge on November 23 in the team’s home opener at Barclays Center.
