LONG ISLAND NETS ANNOUNCE 2023-24 SEASON SCHEDULE

LONG ISLAND (Sept. 5, 2023) – The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have announced their 2023-24 season schedule. Long Island will host Raptors 905 in the team’s home opener on Friday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at Nassau Coliseum. 

The NBA G League schedule will include two parts – a 16-game Showcase Cup and a 34-game regular season. The Showcase Cup features all 31 NBA G League teams and will culminate at the NBA G League Winter Showcase. NBA G League team records will then reset and starting Wednesday, Dec. 27, a 34-game regular season will be played for a total of 50 games during the 2023-24 season.

Long Island will play 24 home games at Nassau Coliseum this season, including one contest in the morning and three games that will be played on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The LI Nets’ longest homestand of the season will span six games at the Coliseum around the NBA All-Star break, beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 13, versus Delaware and concluding on Wednesday, March 6, versus Westchester.

The schedule also includes 24 road contests and two games that Long Island will play as part of the annual NBA G League Winter Showcase in December. The team’s three longest road trips will span five games each, with the first beginning on Friday, Nov. 17, at Maine and ending Monday, Dec. 4, at College Park, the second spanning from Saturday, Jan. 13, at Stockton and ending Saturday, Jan. 20, at Windy City and the third beginning on Friday, March 8, at Capital City and concluding Saturday, March 16, at Osceola. 

Long Island will play nine back-to-back sets throughout the season. 

All of Long Island’s home games will be featured regionally on WRHU Radio Hofstra University 88.7 FM, and a full broadcast schedule will be released by the NBA G League at a later date.
