Morgan Taylor- Vice President of Business Operations

Morgan Taylor serves as the Vice President of Business Operations for the WNBA’s New York Liberty and the Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets. At the Long Island Nets, she oversees strategic planning, marketing, ticket sales, in-game experiences, and community engagement. Additionally, in her role with the NY Liberty, she manages event operations, merchandise and leads ticket marketing initiatives.

With a passion for understanding how analytics drives successful partnerships, Taylor started her career with Major League Soccer in their Digital Properties department. With the MLS, she gained a keen focus on providing digital value to league partners. Taylor has been with the New York Liberty since 2013. She led the WNBA in top ticket sales revenue for the 2015 and 2016 season, providing exemplary service to ticket holders to help maintain and grow the fan-base. Prior to rejoining the WNBA, Taylor spent time with the Washington Commanders as Manager of Business Operations. She then pivoted back to the WNBA and became the Manager of Membership Experience for the Las Vegas Aces; setting records in ticket revenue while operationally preparing for their inaugural season in Las Vegas.

Taylor is an alumna of George Washington University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Finance Business Administration. While enrolled, she served as Head Equipment Manager for the Division I Women’s Basketball Team and interned for the Washington Mystics in the Basketball Operations department. She went on to complete the Sports Certificate program at New York University, where she also served as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach during the 2012-2013 season. Morgan has been recognized in the Long Island community through various awards such as Blank State Media’s 40 under 40, Long Island Herald’s Premier Businesswomen and the Long Island Press’ Power List. As a native New Yorker, Taylor understands the communities in which her teams serve and their needs. She currently resides on Long Island with her son, Devin.
