Long Island Nets Announce Preseason Game and 2017-18 Theme Nights

LONG ISLAND (October 12, 2017) – The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, will host a home preseason game against the Westchester Knicks along with several new theme nights for the 2017-18 regular season.

Long Island will face Westchester in the team’s lone preseason game, which will tip off on Monday, October 30, at 7 p.m. at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.  The matchup will be Long Island’s first ever game played at the recently renovated Coliseum after playing their inaugural 2016-17 season at Barclays Center.

Individual tickets for the preseason game are all $10 (with the exception of premium seating) and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at longislandnets.com, Ticketmaster.com, nycblive.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the Ticketmaster Box Office located at the Coliseum.

This season, the team has added several dates for theme nights, including Military Appreciation Day, a School Day game, Jewish Heritage Night, Women’s Empowerment Day, and Cancer Awareness Day.

During every home game this season, fans can participate in a number of family-friendly activities while watching the action on the court.  While the games are being played, families can enjoy the kids zone, where on any given night, there will be face painting, inflatables, and gaming options.

Long Island will begin its 2017-18 regular season schedule at home against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Saturday, November 4, at 7 p.m. at the Coliseum.
