J.J. Moore Rejoins Long Island Nets

LONG ISLAND (October 31, 2017) – Forward J.J. Moore has rejoined the Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets.

Moore appeared in 46 games for Long Island last season, recording averages of 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 26.5 minutes per contest. The Brentwood, N.Y., native participated in Long Island’s first annual local player tryout in September 2016 and was then acquired by the team in the third round of the 2016 NBA G League Draft.

After playing for the LI Nets in the team’s inaugural season, Moore appeared in 15 games for Maccabi Rishon LeZion in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, three games with the Brooklyn Nets’ 2017 Las Vegas Summer League team and, most recently, four games with Comunicaciones Mercedes in the Argentinian Liga A.

Long Island will open its regular season this Saturday, November 4, at 7 p.m. against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
