Long Island Nets Coach's Show to Debut on WRHU Radio Hofstra University 88.7 FM

LONG ISLAND (Feb. 23, 2018) – The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, and WRHU Radio Hofstra University 88.7 FM will debut the Long Island Nets Coach’s Show today on air and WRHU.org at 4 p.m.

The show is hosted by WRHU’s Bryan Clark, who serves as the Long Island Nets color analyst, and features Long Island Nets head coach Ronald Nored. The pair will discuss Nets basketball, team news and recent and upcoming contests along with player interviews and more. The Long Island Nets Coach’s Show will air on Friday afternoons at 4 p.m. for the remainder of the season.

With studios in the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication, WRHU’s award winning student-run radio station was named non-commercial radio station of the year by the National Association of Broadcasters in the prestigious Marconi Awards competition in 2014 and 2017, and was ranked the best college radio station in the nation by the Princeton Review for 2015 and 2016.  It has also been the flagship station of the NHL’s New York Islanders since 2010, and is the first and only college radio station to have an exclusive broadcasting agreement with a professional major-league sports team. In 2016, WRHU was named the flagship station of the Long Island Nets, producing and broadcasting its home games at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
